I am an engineering geologist with WSP in Wellington, with particular interests in natural hazards and risks, and infrastructure resilience. 

I have been tasked with overseeing the finances for the Symposium, as well as supporting Phil and Ayoub in the development of the technical programme.  The last year has been very challenging, with the uncertainty of COVID-19 issues disrupting our plans for the symposium, so I would like to thank all our sponsors and partners who have continued to support the event through all this uncertainty.  I am excited at the range and quality of the papers that have been prepared, and look forward to seeing everyone in Dunedin.
