Gillian Martin, RN, PG Dip Health Sciences, University of Auckland<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gill has over 30 years nursing\nexperience gained working both in New Zealand and in UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her area of expertise\nis Radiology Nursing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She has been Radiology Nurse\nSpecialist at Auckland City Hospital for more than 10 years and has experience\nat working in all radiology modalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She is currently responsible for the\nQuality and Improvements aspects of Radiology Nursing which involves the\nwriting of policy, procedures, guidelines and protocols for Radiology Nurses,\nand orientation and education for Nurses. She is also involved in education\nwith Student Nurses at University of Auckland giving them an insight into\nradiology encounters for their patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She is an active member of the Perioperative Nurses College of New Zealand (NZNO) and has had articles published in their journal \u201cThe Dissector\u201d and has presented at their annual conference on numerous occasions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gill is committed to the enhancement of quality in patient care through expert knowledge, advanced nursing practice and dedication to a model of nursing that has a patient centred focus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n All things Hepato-Biliary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n When\nmost people think about Interventional Radiology procedures they almost always\nhit the default button and go straight to angiography, legs , angioplasty and\nstenting, but there is far more to it than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For\nexample, take the Liver and what can go wrong with it, not forgetting the rest\nof the Biliary Sytem.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Biography Gillian Martin, RN, PG Dip Health Sciences, University of Auckland Gill has over 30 years nursing experience gained working both in New Zealand and in UK.
