See full announcement on the News page.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t The Symposium is preceded by a one-and-a-half-day workshop and field study<\/a> which starts in Queenstown and ends in Dunedin at the welcome reception. The two-day symposium will include technical talks, discussions and a trade exhibition<\/a>. We will use a range of formats: keynote speakers<\/a>, plenary special technical sessions and discussions, speaker presentations, and poster exhibitions. Collaboration and communication with structural and infrastructural engineering will be the key component of our technical sessions.<\/p>\n We will be delighted to see you at Dunedin<\/a> in 2020. Let\u2019s combine our thinking and together develop…<\/p>\n NZGS 2020 Symposium<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t The New Zealand Geotechnical Society<\/a> (NZGS) is the affiliated organisation in New Zealand of the International Societies representing practitioners in Soil mechanics, Rock mechanics and Engineering geology. The New Zealand Geotechnical Society Symposium was last held in Napier in 2017.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t “Geotechnical engineering and engineering geology are now widely perceived in New Zealand as an integral part of our modern communities.”<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t
