He has been living in Auckland (New Zealand) since December 2000.<\/p>\n<p>He pepeha (tribal proverb)<\/p>\n<p>Ko Pirongia te maunga<br \/>\nKo Waipa te awa<\/p>\n<p>Ko Waikato-Maniapoto te iwi<\/p>\n<p>Ko Ngati Apakura te hap\u016b<br \/>\nKo P\u016brekireki Wiwi te marae<\/p>\n<p>Peter teaches in the School of M\u0101ori and Indigenous Education, Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Auckland. He has a background in linguistics and assessment\/measurement.
