We are no longer taking registrations for iMean6 as the conference has already occurred.

Welcome to iMean6 in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand.

    "Meredith
  Meredith Marra
    "Corinne
  Corinne Seals

We are delighted to be bringing the Interaction and Meaning conference to our corner of the South Pacific, its first time away from the United Kingdom.

We look forward to hosting an intellectually exciting conference and providing an opportunity for people to renew old contacts and to meet new people in the field. We are confident the Conference will stimulate new thinking and open up many innovative avenues of research.

“It is the delegates who will make this Conference a success, from the quality of your papers to your engagement with the speakers.”

The theme for the conference is “Weaving” and we encourage papers which bring together different disciplines, different cultures, different traditions, different methods. We cherish the opportunity to see our field working together and to see delegates learning from each other.

While you’re here, we hope you get plenty of opportunity to experience Wellington’s hospitality, whether at the local cafes, through a visit to Te Papa, or just by walking along our waterfront. If Windy Wellington is living up to its name, why not amble along Lambton Quay and the local shops? We’re biased and think that Wellington is the best place in New Zealand, but we encourage you to do your own research and travel up and down the country while you’re here.

Finally, we know that it is the delegates who will make this Conference a success, from the quality of your papers to your engagement with the speakers. We trust you will take up this challenge!

We look forward to having you here with us in Wellington in 2019. Nau mai. Haere mai. Welcome.
